Dear colleagues!
Are you interested in advances in semiconductor technologies and chip manufacturing? Do you want to learn about the latest trends in micro-, nano- and quantum electronics and learn about recent achievements in the field of research and development of chips and semiconductors?
We invite you to attend
which will take place on January 29, 2025
at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana, Tržaška cesta 25, Ljubljana.
The conference will give participants an insight into research and achievements in the field of chips and semiconductors, focus on current challenges and exchange new experiences and technologies. We invite researchers, engineers, scientists and industrial experts in the field of chips and semiconductors in Slovenia and abroad to attend the conference and discuss in depth the current technological hotspots and frontiers of industry development, such as chips, sensors, semiconductor and photonic integrated circuits, design and technologies, and prototyping.
This year's conference, in addition to lecturers from Slovenia, is distinguished by the rich participation of excellent lecturers from abroad (Austria, France, Croatia, the Netherlands, Taiwan, USA), who will present the latest research and development achievements and current challenges.
Newly established competence centers for chips and semiconductor technologies from Slovenia, Austria, Croatia and France, supported by the European Commission under the European Chips Act program, will also present themselves at this year's conference.
In the afternoon, there will be a competition for the authors of the best master's theses in the field of chips and semiconductor technologies, who defended their master's theses at Slovenian institutions of knowledge in 2024.
We invite and encourage you to take the time to fully inform yourself and discuss the innovations, trends and development possibilities of our profession in the specific areas for which you live.
The conference is organized by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana in cooperation with industrial partners and professional associations. The conference will be held in English.
